Artist's Comments
This is Shard, my current Dungeons and Dragons character. She is a "mentalist" so basically she has powers of the mind and lots of influence...like a Jedi. She just got this nifty ability too that lets me turn my sword into a lightsaber XD
Anyway, I wanted her outfit to be kinda cyber-punk influenced because I looooove that whole genre (the "alchemist" class in MR has all of their armor inspired by it), but it ended up looking more steampunk than anything (which is a genre I know very little about x.x ). I do have to say though, her gauntlets were very much inspired and kinda borrowed from the very defunct dead comic called "Ragnarok" which was a total influence on me when I was a young artist-type. I spent waaaaay more time and effort than I really should have because I love details. And I love little details because I am a SICK SICK HUMAN BEING WHO LIKES MAKING EXTRA WORK FOR HERSELF.
