Next, if you wanna see projects I've been fiddling with, check out my blog! [link] I'm totally trying to update the blog with works in progress, because it's fun to see stuff in the sketchey, prelim stages (or at least I like to see that sort of thing--it gives you an idea of how the artist works! ) Right now I've been filling it with stuff that I've been trying to pad my portfolio with, so sadly most of it hasn't exactly been finished x.x
Speaking of not being finished, I'm hoping that soon I'll have more work done to update to deviantART--I totally wanna make a sexy MR poster to sell at Anime Expo (and all the other cons) but I just haven't gotten around to making an idea yet. Gah, I fail at ideas XD
Luckily though, I DID manage to script 5 pages ahead for the comic, which is awesome since I haven't scripted that far ahead since, like Febuary (school+life making things hectic and hard to be creative). I like to keep the script 5 pages ahead because that way I have time to adjust/alter things as I think of them, yet it's not so far ahead that I feel committed to one specific idea. The way I work with scripting is I make an outline for not only the story as a whole (yes, I know how I'm going to end MR, as it will end someday), but for storyarcs, and chapter arcs, too. From the outlines I then make actual, scripted pages, though again, I only like to write dialouge for 5 pages in advance. It might not make sense for some, but I like to embrace my chaotic idea process.
